![]() I am looking for a couple pieces of a strong magnet so I can secure a powerhead (the suction cups are not doing it) and the hanging bracket two small to go over tank rim.
or who sells them or are there any idea's out there?

![]() Lee Valley sells rare earth magnets for fairly cheap. You'd probably have to coat them with epoxy or something though... as I would expect with any other kinds of magnets.

![]() Would those rare earth magnets mess with the motor function because of the magnetic field they would create?? I wouold be intereted to see if it worked though because they would be a strong anchor.

![]() 2 large earth magnets on opposite sides of thin glass come together with such force that it has the potential to cause a fracture. Make sure you buy the proper size. Yes they are that strong, just try getting one off your fridge with your bare hands.
