I have two in one overflow, does the pipe have a cap? The " hole" you put in the top of the cap regulates how much air gets sucked into the pipe and how fast the water can " drain " down the pipe.

It really seems to like very white surfaces, its starting on a upside down clam shell in the one picture.

It could be just large white pieces of sand or crushed...

I have a 33g soft tank that will not let me run carbon on it, it I do try everything looks...

Good question, I have alot of surface agitation because I like the look of the light ( MH ) and the way it "ripples" in the tank. I wonder if it does effect par?
