I used a 1" bulkhead on the overflow for my 15g but I don't know how much they can actually flow. Might want to go bigger, maybe 1 1/2 or more. If you are using two tho, maybe if both were 1 1/4 or 1...

Steve, use the braided type clear plastic hose. They have it at HD. I use it all over my system, from 1/2" up to 1 1/4". I think I got some for a better price at Coast Industrial on Dupplin Rd. same...

reactor question
Wondering why I would want a soleniod for my co2 bottle. Is it in case of a power failure the co2 doesn't keep flowing and do crazy things when the power comes back on?

Steve, my tank is a 60g (or maybe 55g..I don't know) 36"x18"x21" tall..it is about 16" from the top of the sand to the water level. No bracing at all, it is an Oceanic. I got it used, nice quality...
