I have mine set to dose calcium for a few hours in the morning, alk for a few hours in the afternoon and magnesium for a few hours in the evening. I never really "got" that whole magnesium addition...

As for the magnesium, 1100ppm is a pretty good number. You can try to raise it to about 1350ppm but it will take a lot of supplement.

I wouldn't worry...

You might want to look into dosing Ca, Mg and an alk buffer now that you have a clam in there using some of that up. ...
