yeah no sandbed was totally the way to go for me....

yeah no sandbed was totally the way to go for me. The bottom of my tank is covered with various coralline and other algae and piles of detritus accumulate in low flow areas which I have to siphon out...

But if you stand back you get the photo in focus and you can then crop it afterwards? Thats what I do anyways. Either that or take photos at night with the room lights off, the fish don't seem to be...

No the oil isn't on the outside of the egg, its inside it. Pathogens can cross over via eggs but likely with it being saltwater and at a higher temperature its nothing to worry about.
