Yeah, that's right. With it set up that way, my RO/DI system will kick in every time the ATO pump does and draws a bit of water out of the Brute. I guess now I am wondering if a pressure tank or two...

But from what I've been told by Aquasafe, the ASOV won't work without back pressure. A pressure tank will still provide that pressure...

When I fire up my wood stove downstairs in the winter, my tank bumps up to just shy of 81. I normally keep it around 77-78. I haven't noticed any ill effects from that much temp rise.

Looking at those on your link, I doubt they have much punch to get very far into your tank. I'm not sure you'd get any effect down low in your tank. Just a gut feeling, no experience with those...

I ran a Laguna pond pump and had great success...

I ran a Laguna pond pump and had great success with it. 14' of head was no issue. I still have it on my mixing station. The pump that never dies :)
