I don't think you could grow corals up there in Edmonton, but down here in Calgary we certainly get enough sunlight to grow even the hardest SPS.:wink:

I have one. I thought it was a gonner after falling heads first in the sand, but it has made a nice recovery. Has about 4-6 heads depending on how you count.

Very cool idea. If it were my tank I would use the sump side as a refugium, and keep the whole thing lit. Some macro algae and live rock on the sump side will cover up any equipment nicely.

Some medical latex gloves has a powder in them to make it easier to put on. I don't know about any adverse effects caused from latex but that powder is definately no good. Clean them out first.
