Actually I think they do have that policy of matching lowest prices. Not sure if there is a policy of returning a refund though after you bought it and found out it was cheaper elsewhere.

Not that I think it wouldn't work but I loose about a gallon a day in my 70 gal tank, so depending on the size of your tank you might be refilling that 2 liter pop bottle once a day, maybe more.

I'm up to 8 ml a day and sticking to that amount. Haven't noticed much difference but then I was dosing since my tank was 2 months old last year.

same thing just wasting water and electricity, plus the chemicals you plan to add. It's freezing out at night, setting those rock out will pretty much kill anything living in the rock.

Problem with Durso standpipes. It dampens the noise in the tank but noise and bubbles in the sump don't go away. Used to have that setup, changed it to herbie style not too long ago.
