I have started a 15 - 20 gallon reef tank. I took the LR, Sand and water from my larger tank.

I have a chunk of colt in there and plan on adding more.

2 cups per 5 gallons is probably your best bet...

2 cups per 5 gallons is probably your best bet and depending one your salt you should get a gravity of around .024, .025 area.


Your best bet though would be to go out at buy a cheap hydrometer...

I had the power off between 3:30 and 9:30 (15 minutes ago). The tank only dropped a couple degrees and I added some hot water and mixed it in good and the tank went back up to 79.
