Thanks for the help! This one has had its last meal--I'll just break off the rock and throw it away. I suspect there might be one or two more hiding in the zoas, but I'll have to take a closer look....

I'd have to second BC Mosaic's comments on the jigsaw. It probably works, but the back-and-forth motion pushes and pulls the acrylic, creating unnecessary stress on it. Anything that rotates should...

Hitchhiker ID
Hi,
I hope someone can help me ID the hitchhiker growing from the base of the digitata in the pics below. Initially I thought it was some kind of zoa. Since it grew bigger it looks more...

Thanks Chris! I've seen shrimp gobies and liked them a lot, but never really looked into them for my tank. I notice J&L charges twice as much for a shrimp goby/pistol shrimp pair as they do to buy...

Added 5 more blue legged hermits today as the first five have been earning their keep so far. I also bought a couple pounds of nice Tonga rock so I can hide some of the uglier pieces I'm using now....

zoa sexual reproduction?
Hi all,
I just added some new zoas to my 10G nano two days ago. They look healthy so far. Today I saw what looked like a stream of milky fluid coming out of one of the polyps for at least a minute...
