Even if it could be compressed, a unlevel tank would have more water on the low side, and more weight, resulting in more foam compression, and making tank even more unlevel

I would try a different power bar. Pretty hard for something 2 be wrong with the fixture as they are 2 completely separate wired light systems in it.

I'm gona try the Aqualifter style for a while here. I allready have controllers, accutate to 1/10 sec and programable for as many dosings a day as I want. It seems like the cheapest route for me :D

First off, do you have the number of wires between switches and lights as shown? Sound like you have the black and the red on the 2nd switch reversed?
