i dont think i washed the sand very well and my water looks really murky, should i wait it out till the morning to settle or is it time for some carbon?

if you get one of the aqua clear powerheads you have a powerhead and a pump in one, only problem is this adds micro bubbles to your tank (why i stopped using it)

in my experience with freshwater i wouldn't treat...

in my experience with freshwater i wouldn't treat them for ich as it can be very stressful to add medications to the water when they already are stressed from the move, i would just quarantine them...

well i just took a good hard look at mine and it was off level, the top of the tank wasn't level but water is self leveling, so i put a nickel under one side and im getting very little bubbles now

i just got (yesterday) a CPR90 for my 30G tank, so thats 600GPH on my 30 gal :p dont have to worry about putting a valve on the overflow it will work regardless of your pump keeping up or not as mine...
