what kind of corals do you prefer?
Personally, I like softies and Lps. the reasoning behind it is they are usually quite hardy, low maintenance and they "flow". I love to sit and watch the movement of my corals. I haven't got into sps...

I prefer a reef with minimal fish. Mainly softies and some lps which I keep to certain kinds due to their aggressiveness.

I feel your pain OP. I have lost a few fish to this infection. Try that polyplab quasi-placebo first, it cured my clarkii but not my Raccoon butterfly. I really have no faith in "fish medicine"....
