If gas wasn't so expensive, I'd love to come give you a hand if needed. But at current prices, I'd be looking at $370 just in gas for the trip. Ouch!!!

I have just over 3 times flow through my sump. My reasoning for low sump flow is so that the skimmer has more time to skim the water, compared to high sump flow.

As long as the water flows through the ChemiPure bag, it doesn't matter too much where you put it. You can even stick the sacks into a hob filter.

When I suspect a toxin release or chemical problem, I like to use ChemiPure rather than carbon. Good luck tracking down the culprit.
