I think perhaps the biggest difference is...
I think perhaps the biggest difference is quality....those titanium screws will never rust....that 1/4" thick acrylic will never crack....etc. Properly maintained, a skimmer of this quality should...

Profilux will give you the most options but, at the highest price as well...the aquacontroller III will also do everything you are looking for( with the possible exception of wifi...not positive)......

How big is the tank?...With all due respect, 1100gph is a piddle in the pond so to speak....unless its a 10g tank....I am personally running 9000gph on 110g....could also just be those "new tank...
