You can buy RO at any grocery store or at Home Depot. It's about a dollar a gallon.

Reverse Osmosis with De-Ionization (RO/DI).

I used Edmonton tapwater for years in fish only tanks. I have a 6 stage RO with DI that I now use for corals.

and for the eurobracing just go to a glass shop and get the pieces you need. They are easy to silicon on yourself since they are nonstructural.

I have a 70 watt metal halide on a 15g nano. Anything much bigger than 70 watts could cause overheating problems in a 20g nano. What size is your brother's light?

I like trim too because it hides the water line. The exception is tanks meant to be viewed from above

If the high point is below the overflow height the system should flow without having to have a siphon. The pressure of the water moving down will push the water up. The more water pushing down vs...

I didn't find one locally. I couldn't find a CPR 90 overflow in town so I ordered the "Deluxe" from J&L which came packaged with the lid and the Aqualifter.

If I get a lot of glare from the Nanocube I can move the monitor a couple feet to the right or onto the "L" of the desk.

I'm more concerned with the 20X20 splashing the monitor than water coming...

I'm setting up a Red Sea Max. I added a sump in the stand, a phosphate reactor & protein skimmer behind the tank, a shallow tanks beside it with a Viper 70 which will be for clams and invertebrates....
