You should be able to get away with taking the coral out for a very short period of time without killing it. I usually put the frag in a tupperware container, glue it, then cure it for a while before...

Wow man, sorry about your loss too. I came home to a bad situation yesterday, my overflow stopped working. I only lost a few gallons of water, so I was lucky. I can't imagine losing everything.

I voted customer service and location. Location, not because of where the store is, but because of where I am. With no LFS to speak of for decent salt supplies, I always order in from the coast now....

PS. Every other month I do a larger water change with a detritus clean up. It's usually about 25-30% in one shot.
