I have been using pool strips that have free chlorine and total chlorine. They only go down to 0.5 ppm. I haven't see anything on them anytime I've tested. I'm going to try out something else.

It does look like they are working on a spawning rise, but not quite going for it. Cool! I'm not sure if they are sterile or not, but that wouldn't stop them from trying. Same like mules...

Yeah, Dendros are usually pretty good for staying open, though someone was complaining to me recently that he never sees his open, and is having trouble feeding it.

Nice. I never saw one eating pellets at an LFS only 2 days landed though. They be gooders. I wish my tank was big enough for a MI. It's one of my holy grail fish.

Haha, I did the same thing a couple years ago. I think mine was 2005 expired, but I was still using it. Surprisingly, it was still accurate. Their NO3 kit is pretty good - that's the one I use.
