Ok, I'll pick up a 12V 1400 mA ac adapter and wire it in. Hopefully the LEDs light up. It's not plug and play, but it's easier than I thought it would be. :lol:

Yeah, the LEDs aren't waterproof, so I'm thinking they might not last long. I was also thinking that I could probably put a dab of silicone on them to help longevity.

My fan came with a 3-pin apx...

You're welcome. Assuming you mean 6 mm...that's not true. The black glass on my tank is 10 mm IIRC. I also have a kitchen table with really thick black glass - never measured it.

That's how. :) Personally, I'd rather use a glass overflow and silicone 1/4" acrylic onto it. I wouldn't trust the acrylic to glass seal long-term. Make sure you have standpipes in the overflows...
