Colin, yes the power bar will run as many halides as you have sockets, but just cant exceed the 1500 w rating in total.

You cant however, exceed 400w of halide...

so an 8x5 oveflow would be 18" of actual surface skimming.

But i couldnt say it would be 5" in depth...
