My Corals and fish seem happy in my 15G. I have 2 x Koralia 1 powerheads and an Aquaclear 20 filter. The powerheads are pointed at eachother and merge somewhere in the center of the tank.

If you're putting 10-12 lbs of live rock in your 10G and running a low bioload (probably 2 fish + CUC) you won't need a skimmer as long as you do consistent water changes.

I would say, first off, move up to a 15G (24x12x12). It will give you a lot more room to play around with and more space for fish/corals/etc. It's also much easier finding lights that will fit a 15G...

That makes a lot of sense. I was doing some PAR readings on my tank last night and was getting about 680 PAR on the bottom of my 15G (about 16" from bottom of light to bottom of tank) with a 4x24W T5...

I use a 22K and an Actnic for my Dusk/Dawn effect but you leave them on with your daylights unless you want to have a really yellow/white tank.

In the end I went for Oc./False perculas because I preferred the orange on the sides vs. the black-dominated true percs.

I'm running a 4 bulb T5 over the nano and have 2 x 22K (as blue as actnic but with PAR rating) 1 x 12K and 1 x Actinic. Nice blue colour, the colour really pops, but sand still looks white.
