Not that I live in Vancouver or am part of the Reef Club but I thought I would post a reply.
The interesting fact is most LFS purchase their fish from the same sources. You will find some that...

Most Centropyge are advertised as being reef safe. However, in my personal experience, all of the ones I have owned (bicolor, FLAMES, potters, coral beauties) have picked at one coral or another in...

Nice to see a positive post here about the Americans. Too bad the poster didn't realize this was a hoax.
Probably just upset over the last few years of the Stanley Cup results.

Discus and Water Changes
Anyone have any experience with Discus? I have read some articles regarding growth rate and the number and quantity of water changes PER DAY. Want to know if any of you have any specific experience...

New skimmer
How about some time lapsed shots of the skimmer working? I would like to see what it pulls out of your tank.

New skimmer
How about a couple of pictures of it in action? I would like to see what it pulls from your tank. Make sure you time stamp the pictures for the 'time lapse' view.
Thanks.

To nano or not to nano? That is the question.
Nanos, in my experience, are more difficult in the beginning due to the fluctuations in EVERY aspect possible. However, once they are stabalized, they are usually easy to maintain.

Amonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate
It depends on whether you are adding raw or cured rock. If you are adding raw rock, then I would add now since your tank will recycle. If you are adding cured rock, I would wait until the Nitrate...

20-30 damsels or cromis in a 120 reef?
Firefish are probably the worst fish to place in a 120 gallon. They are sold as fish which can get along with multiple fish in the same tank but, in my experience, you will end up with two. A...

Sohal Tang
If you have a large tank, you should be okay. They tend to be one of the more aggressive surgeons, second to the Dussumieri, in my experience.
Beautiful fish.
