I've had an Aquarium shop for 33 years and use garlic everyday mixed with flake and frozen foods. Mostly for marine but also on clown loach and other scaleless freshwater.

I have the same setup - 20 gal with 130pc light, put in a 2" rbta about a year ago, now over 6" and is host for a pair of occellaris clowns. Mind you they didn't go into it for months, then one night...

Unfortunately Main Aq. closed several years ago. Tommy retired. But that was a great store for freshwater fish.

Broadway & Oak was Fin n Feathers. Always had exotic stuff. The store is long gone...
