Perfect fit for your tank! Start intensity low at 50% then ramp up over time.

Well i had the 2ft on my tank for about a week and a half so i started that off slow. Now it ramps up in the morning runs full power for 2 hours a day and goes back down. Since adding the new light, polyp extension and color has improved drastically. I love it.

maxspects are nice fixture's, I went with the 160w , have no complaints my lps corals seem to love it. However if I try to turn my light on to %1 blue and %0 white for a moonlight effect my female clownfish goes nuts and attacks the male , as soon as I turn atleast %1 white she stop's. Other than that great light and it's nice it comes with two mounting sollutions with the fixture, instead of having to pay an extra 40 bucks for a hanging kit when you buy a new light

Lunar cycles have a lot to do with some fishes mating habits.
