My firefish and CBB eat PE mysis and miscellaneous frozen foods readily. Anthias specifically need small amounts multiple times a day to thrive. Many people set up auto feeders to feed 4 times a day with small pellets food for their anthias.

Yup, one of goals is to find an easier way to keep the anthias thick.
The pellets ive tried, they dont eat.

As well as the usual Mysis, seaweed and Spectrum pellets. I recently tried Vitalis Platinum marine pellets, they are tiny, soft and sink quickly so the bottom feeders get in on it too. Plus if you are lazy like me and don't turn off your drains etc at feeding time the pellets stay in the tank. My fish love them, as well as shrimps crabs etc and my anemones too. I won't be going back to Spectrum

My tank gets one cube of mysis shrimp once a day in the afternoon and everybody gets a chance at the shrimp as what the swimmers miss the bottom feeders get and any left over the snail and crabs get their fill as well and every once in a while They are fed vitality fish pellets when I get people over to look at the tank and I let them feed the fish which they generally get a kick out of.

I can't stress enough how much my life has improved since getting an automated feeder with Vitalis premium pellets.
Still top up with a cube now and then and some hand fed shrimp pieces for the trigger and anemones. |

My Anthias like Xtreme flakes and Wardley dry shrimp pellets. The pellets are too big for them so I break them up a bit and they eat the tiny-ish pieces. Its fun to see my Melanurus Wrasse grab a pellet piece that is too big for him, then bash it against a rock to break it up. Does that make the Wrasse another animal that uses tools?

Thanks for recommendations, i will try some of these out.
so far, the anthias and other smaller fish have no interest in the vitalis xs pellets.
