Question What's on my aquarium glass?

I have just set up a new tank with live rock and live sand. It is only about two weeks old. Yesterday I noticed a thin orange line on the inside of the glass, about two inches long, in sort of a squiggly line. Every time I have looked since yesterday it has changed it's direction and length. Any ideas what this would be??

Thanks!

Sounds like a 2 inch orange squiggly worm type creature. Hopefully you find many more things that you never thought you would, it's part of the fun in this hobby!

not from the sounds of it. They're usually multi headed and stay in the sand. Likely one of a million possible worms shipped in the rock.

Those worms are common, although their name escapes me. I have plenty of them in my sand.

Just be glad it's not one of those 60 ft long bristle type worms

Yeah, that does sound much worse. It seems to have gone away now, so who knows...
