Default 5g with Orphek PR25 LED

5g Marineland tank
Eheim HOB filter
Rubble and carbon for filtration
Orphek PR25 dimmable LED bulb
Still going to add more live rock than what's showing right now (only about 4lbs in it so far).

How do you like the Orphek? I was torn between that and a RapidLED par38 for my tank. I went the cheaper route, but the ability to dim would be a bonus.

I really like the light. It's more bluish in the picture than in person but it's great. But I won't be able to comment properly when it's stocked. Just working on some scape work on dried live rock and then I'll add it in with the existing live rock and let it sit for a few weeks.

The dimming feature would be sweet but I can't find anyway of putting a dimmer and timer on it without going with a controller. Something I know little about. I'll put that low on the priority list.

I picked it up at progressive reef here in Victoria. It was on display so I got it cheaper than the regular price of $250.
