Jphong did not have any left at the frag fest and was asking a little to much for what he was selling but his equipment was priced good, got a few thing myself.

They're in my brothers tank, they're about the size of a soft ball

For what its worth, I got a small colony of Purple Deaths a few weeks ago and they turned brown as soon as they went into my tank. This was about three weeks ago? They are at the bottom of my tank in a low to medium flow area and are now losing their brown and starting to purple up.

Nice! A glimmer of hope I think mine will purple up too. I just moved them into a new spot with less flow and better light 2 weeks ago so hopefully they are happy now, certainly growing better.

i found the same thing , i kept mine kind of hidden under a ledge where they were getting the light but it was less intense, flow wasnt to great in my zoa tank anyways so i also believe they wouldnt do well with high flow but cant say for sure as i didnt have them in a high flow tank.they did love my actinics though

now that you got them in a good spot do as the old saying goes " dont pick at it and let them grow" lol they dont like to be handled often and if you can leave them in one spot they like they should take right off beautifull arnt they the nuclear greens were so vibrant it was favorite colour green in the hobby
