Default MaxiJet Turbo Venturi for Berlin skimmer

Hi,

I've seen many posts suggesting to replace the original venturi on a Berlin classic skimmer to a Kent turbo venturi to increase performance.
What about a Maxijet turbo venturi added to a Mag7. will this be any better than the original??? http://community-2.webtv.net/MarkPel...SR6CONVERSION/

Isn't that the same venturi as the Seaclone's? It's not a very efficient venturi IME.

Hi,

Based on what I read, most of the performance comes from the bigger pump. So, I would go for the biggest you can put on it. I have heard that some have gone as far as putting a Mak4 on Red Sea.
