Default wavebox

you would have to build a box with openings in the bottom(adjustable) a top with an toothed overflow and the front with an opening that would support your tunze.the controller can be made with a dimmer and a capacitor i've been thinking about making one for one of my small tanks.i made a simple controller before for something else for under $30 .best thing to do is look at a wavebox, and if your handy with tools it's fairly easy to make one.or you can go to e-bay and pick one up for about $200.mine has been running for 3 years with no problems

There are some guys that have made them... but the the cost of parts for the controller almost add up to the cost of a good used wavebox!

Thank you very much for the link. I am not a very handy woman but I really want to try it, instead of buying a new one. Is it possible if I just buy a seperate controller, because I don't think I can build it on my own.
