Default Vendor business license

Are listed vendors required to have a current business license before being shown as a vendor?

No, at least not at this time anyhow.

It may be helpful to those thinking of purchasing from vendors to have a notation to indicate whether or not a listed vendor has such documentation indicating that they are a legitemate business or not.
If not they really are no more, or less, than other individuals selling/trading their prunings through the forum to other members.

Correct, they are often individuals selling a higher volume of frags. My personal favorite frag supplier is such an individual.
For the intent of your question, whether a "business" holds a license or not will NOT determine the level of service received from said "business".
I don't imagine that at any time we would require a license to advertise.

We will, however, consider a SLA (service level agreement) with future advertisers and future renewals to those vendors wishing to host forums on the board. This is still in a development stage, but we're hoping to have something in place that keeps an open line of communication between members and businesses.
