King Ed's Pets in Burnaby has the RSM250 with stand brand new for $999. They would probably ship to the Island.

JL had them on sale pretty cheap on boxing day, and they say that their boxing day is a 2 day sale. Price wasn't far off of King Ed's, but worth looking into.

I really quite like it. I did find it was running pretty warm, even at night when the lights were off, so I changed out the bigger pump with an eheim I had laying around, and that helped a lot. I still leave the skimmer access panel open so it breathes a little better.

I'm not very impressed with the skimmer.. Maybe it's that I do not have the patience to let it break in. Cameron has one and seems happy with the skimmer, but I yanked mine and put a tunze nano skimmer in. I have a little bubble magus in a cube tank that skims like a muther, and I'm sure it would fit in the rsm just fine, also euroreef has a nano skimmer they claim fits..

It's very quiet, but it has a better weir so you really do hear when it wants water. Also it has regular t5 lamps so you don't need to buy the special ones.
