Default FS: Ultra Clams

I bought these Ultra clams off Thomas (Salty23) just before he left for vacation. Here is his thread: http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/sho...d.php?t=108574

I grabbed 3 of them, each around 4-5".

$250 each.

The picture was taken from above the tank looking down to see their true colours. The colours are under 75% whites and 25% blues.

This is my first time keeping clams and I'm just not comfortable anymore with having something so valuable in my tank. They are healthy but I have a constant paranoia that one day they will turn on me and go down hill.

I wasn't even planning on getting one clam from Thomas..but when I saw them in person, I couldn't resist and bought 3 of them!

I don't regret my decision however because now I can cross clams off my bucket list...but I can't help myself to check on the tank multiple times a day to make sure they're doing okay. It's driving me nuts.

Having the clams for a week now is good enough to satisfy my urges so it's time for me to go and try something else.

I just bought a bunch of LPS and need to make more room for them so prices are OBO.

Nicole, sorry not in the market for clams but I totally relate to the paranoia! Takes the fun out of the hobby when you have to worry!
