Well I have done a little more with the tank this is the order I did it. After the bleach and acid bath I built aqua scape in my driveway and used Fiji Crete then let it sit out side overnight. Then I put it in the tank with a peace of shrimp. I had both of them in there for 3 days. I tested water every day and no change. Then I decided I wanted some live rock so I drove to edmonton to aquarium illusions Saturday and lucky me they were having a sale so I purchased 60 lbs. Drove back and put in tank. Right away I started seeing hitchhiker so have tons of micro brittle stars , sponges, amphipods, asterina micro star ,isopod munnid, bristle worms, and some coral that I don't know. The next day I tested my water again and my ammonia went up a little bit so I pulled out that shrimp. Next day my ammonia was zero again. And the coral looks like it's doing fine and new stuff is growing. I had some coralane die off but a lot is still there.

Do you need to do that with the base rock ???

Scape looks great if you can replicate that in the tank.
I did both and I think it helped get rid of all or any dead stuff on the rock. I have yet to see any sign of my tank doing a cycle
