Default Skimmer suggestions for 28g JBJ nanocube

Looking to get a skimmer for my JBJ but which ones fit in the back fuge area?? Pretty sure remora's do but what other options do i have? any help would be much appreciated.... thanks

Ive pulled out some pretty thick green goop using the JBJ skimmer meant for the package.

thanks for the replys...i have found a remora nano skimmer for a decent price, they are rated for 20 gal. is this going to be too weak? or is some skimming better then none? funds are an issue and this would help with that but im wondering if i will regret it. imput would be appreciated. thanks!

I always have to tune my remora nano. I am not to happy with it but that is just me.

hmm,thanks steve-o...so i guess my question is... is it going to pull enough skimmate out of the water or am i going to end up looking for a different skimmer right away??

Mine seems to skim really well then stop. Then i will have to reset everything and do it all over. I have problems with it stopping its flow then u have to cover the primer to get it going. The problem is it takes hours to see if your setting is good there is a video on youtube on it.

Why even bother with a 28 gal
10 gals per month and you are doing a huge difference

I would go with a Tunze Nano DOC skimmer...I think it's the 9002 model.

I use it in my 33 gal reef and it is awesome. Whisper quiet, easy to use and maintain.
