In my experience damsels are awful. I've had 2 and they both ate my zoas. They are on my terrorist watch list! lol

I have a blue damsel and I was of the same opinion however mine is super docile. Maybe I lucked out or he just gave up with my powder blue, yellow tang and regal tang ha ha. Why can’t you keep him?

It would be a great fish for someone who has a new tank and just finished cycle to build bacteria for a few months then pass along. |

Damsel
I really need to rehome this fish, Currently in my QT system and wanting to add a new fish but don't want to get this guy sick. He is healthy ick free non aggressive, just missing an eye....

ya I guess I could.... they would probably just toss him tho.
I thought someone with a new tank setup could put him to use building bio before adding expensive fish. id trade him for just about anything, frag plugs, shells, egg crate whatever. |

IMO his small size won’t add very much to your bioload. He is used to your tank and I would be worried that he would be bullied when added to a new tank.

What size eggcrate do you need. I have some leftover i think.
I'm not desperate for a one eyed damsel but I'd hate to see the guy get neglected or tossed out. I have a smaller tank with a couple small clowns in it...dunno how he'd fair with them |
