Red face skimmer help

bought a new house and got to upgrade my 90 to 120 3 sided starphire, i have the same sump from my old house and same skimmer its a bubble magus curve 9, just keeps overflowing, this is day 9, i cleaned it very good when i took it out, whats up with it. Any help Thanks

Could be lots of reasons, too many variables. Improperly set, could have forgotten a part? New tank or plumbing could still have factory oils on them? If it's a new house you just moved in to, did you have the house cleaned, carpets washed? Any renos recently done?

Like I said... too many variables.

we had the carpets washed and new plumbing on the tank

its a pretty simple skimmer to use never had a problem with other tank

Probably bingo! Best you can do is rinse everything with water/vinegar solution. Remember to keep cleaning products away from our tanks. Also wouldnt hurt to air out the house. Good luck.
