TSUNAMI warning BC Northern and Central Coast
So there was just an earthquake 7.7 magnitude off the coast of Haida Gwaii. There is now a Tsunami warning for the Northern and Central BC coast.
I experienced the quake in Kitimat and it was pretty exteme. According to the news it is the biggest Earthquake to ever hit bc that we have records for. |

It shook my house in a swaying motion, the lights were moving back and forth
totally CRAZY !

Wow, yeah my sister-in-law called me to tell me about it. Glad to hear you're all ok. Sounds like a scary experience. Hope your homes are ok.

Shook us at work pretty good lasted for 47 seconds no damage but caused a lot of operational issues
Also all beaches on Hawaii have been evacuated and first waves expected to hit right now 1:55am pst with waves expected up to 7 ft to hit |

I seen a post on CBC from someone here Steve, that said they felt it here. Of course with the trains shaking our place every hour, cant tell the difference over here.
