Turned out one of my Scoly's was hosting a mantis shrimp...found out the hard way when he smashed my finger...twice!!!!

He is still living in the rock the Scoly is attached too...I just can't bring myself to get rid of the little guy

Wow intense colouration and polyp extension on the orange passion. Good job.

Does it hurt a lot from the mantis shrimp? Bruise?

Thanks for the compliments

I really like Scoly's, however there doesn't seem to me much demand for them I think due to there high price tag, but IMO they can have some of the most beautiful colours found in a reef. I also find they are not very difficult to keep, a weekly feeding of a good pellet/mysis shrimp is all that they require.

I think I am up to 16 now
