Default Skimmer - 150 Gallons

Looking for a skimmer for approx 150 Gallons, not looking for the most expensive, but intested in something good, solid and reliable, Need Recommedations.

(mine has died and I'm looking to replace immediately ) Thanks

am seriously looking into this one, but will it actually handle 150 gallons easily or will it be underpowered

IMO yes, I'm running one at home on a 150g system and it handles it perfectly

Doesn't matter how much you have been reading until you take the plunge.
You don't know as much as you think.

Last I recall from your build is your tank isn't really stocked yet, might be a bit of a premature statement.

I'm not sure it's big enough for a stocked 150 gallon, a 6" body with a 19W pump doesn't sound like much. That combined with that skimmer being the replacement for the IN100 tells me it'll be on the small side for a 150 gallons. Looks really good otherwise but I'd wait for the release of the next size up, probably the Omega 200. Plus first gens are always a bit a risk for reliability, the fact they only released one model suggests a form of beta testing.

Mike has a really nice skimmer for sale yes more money but in terms of reliability it could save you in the long run.
