Unfortunately alot of these angels don't eat much in captivity if at all.
Once in a while you will get lucky though.
I would not purchase one in the future unless you see it eating well in person.
I find mine loves nori and any type of shrimp really.
You need to keep the stress low on these angels to keep them alive.
Even tangs can be too aggressive for some regals.
Best to have them as your first fish in the tank if possible.
I went through a couple regals to find one that was eating sufficiently to keep its weight up.
