Default WTB Skimmer - EDM or FT Mac

I'm looking for a decent skimmer (Vertex or similar) for my 55 gal. I'm planning on upgrading the tank in the fairly near future so I don't want to buy a brand new one that will fit in my sump, and the one that I'll need for the planned upgrade won't fit in my sump. Anyways, let me know what you've got.

160 gallon Reef, almost all SPS, a few LPS, small handfull of Zoas, and 5 clams. LOVING the upgrade (now that most of the work is done!)

I have a Vertex in180 that I used for two weeks... $250 maybe bigger than you're looking for..?

Also have a Aqua-C Remora for $100

That might work for the upgrade... but don't think it will fit in my sump/stand. Yes, a little bigger than I was hoping for.

I actually have a Remora C Pro... don't like it.

Thanks though.
