Default Pump for closed loop system

Any thoughts for a good quiet pump for a closed loop system?
As well any thoughts to adding a SCWD to it as well?

Thank for any replies

Default sequence pumps

I don't know if i'm 100% correct on this but I did look into these pumps a few months ago and one of the distributors indicated that special seals are needed in a saltwater application. Check into it if you have it or are looking into it.

NOPE, the pumps available in CANADA already have the seals. don't think you can get them out west yet but you can order them from AC and the price rocks. I would also not get the squid as there seems to be tons of probs with them seizing up and they really cut back your flow. you have a few other choices like the REEFRAT, SEASWIRL, or the OCEANS MOTIONS

I have the blueline 20hd (might be marketed under another name now). It is made by an ex Iwaki engineer and is rated at 480gph at 0'. It is pressure rated, really quiet, and only uses 45watts. Has worked well for me so far. I also really liked the eheim 1260 I had.
