Default Tunze Nano DOC Protein Skimmer - 9002

has anyone had experience with the Tunze Nano DOC Protein Skimmer - 9002... does it work well and is it possible to use insump?

does the skimmer sit in the tank or hang on the back?

I just put one in my Red Sea Max......it sits in the back compartment. There are 2 magnets; one attached to the skimmer and one for the other side of the glass or acrylic where you mount it. It's pretty simple setup and use......the skimmer body sits in water......but you can put it in sump or tank....it doesn't hang on the back.....I bought one for my RSM as I had heard good reviews over the stock skimmer....I don't have a bunch of feedback on quality of skimmate as I just set it up (finally) this morning. It seems pretty quiet and adjustable....simple to use

well the 9002 works great for me. i really like it.

as for what you should get, what size is your tank and how is the bioload? Do you plan on adding much more in terms of bioload in the future?
