I was told that you dont really need a GFI or GFCI.
The only thing I have is a grounding probe that Im going to stick into my sump.

Plumbing is done just waiting for everything to dry. Does anyone know where to find 1inch lock lines?

Wow... nice build. Looks really slick. Do you mind telling me how much the tank was? You can pm if prefered. That is exactly what I was thinking about upgrading to from my 75.

I believe the electrical code states that you have to have either a GFI breaker or a GFI plug in if there will be water within 1 m of a outlet. I maybe wrong but I believe in being safe rather than sorry latter.

Aquascape

All the jugs I had to use to get water. We made about 5 trips to safeways. I didn't keep any receipts because I didn't wanna know how much I spent on water.

lol, better keep with the not keeping any receipts idea once you start buying fish, coral and the goods to maintain them as well, as the cost of the water will be nothing in comparison to the other bills to come.

Update: woke up to my sister telling me my tank is half empty and is flooding everywhere. I almost drop kicked her cause I thought it was a joke or she was over reacting. But actually the bottom glass of my sump had a foot long crack in it, and flooded about an estimate of 30 gallons onto my carpet all over the floor. Luckily I found a tank from a canreefer for a new sump and picked it up within the hour. So gotta re plumb, and do all the baffles all over again.

Oh thats bad.
Is the stand for the sump perfectly level? If not or just to be safe, place 3/8 to 1/2 Styrofoam between the sump and stand
