Call me crazy...but ive never seen one of these before..
Am I just acting like a newb here?? Ive never seen one of these before. Came with some live rock I just picked up....kinda muscle/leech/slug/tongue like...about 4" spread out...

Looks abalone-like to me... If so, there amazing grazers! neat, also perhaps a chiton?

Well after some good old googling...I think its a ''Cryptoplax*sp" flexible chiton.
The weird thing is that it was under the pest section...so im not sure what to think. Should I plop it back in the tank? Ive never heard of a bad chiton.

chiton. when they're in their inactive state you can see all their shell plates making them more obvious as a chiton. Neat critters

have exact same one only time I see it is when lights go on b/4 it slips back under rocks just finds it very cool and mysterious looking
