Poor little Coral banded shrimp

Yup the arms on a coral banded shrimp can drop at any time and they quickly grow them back , I think the big arms are to scare animals into thinking it's bigger than it really is

Yet another marvel of nature. Imagine having to "shake off" having your arms bitten off!!! And then just growing them back like its no big deal lol. Very cool! +1 on I didn't know they could grow them back.
