Yes, this was announced a while back on here, but there has been a small update since

Until the end of September the SA3 is $399 down from $485 and the SA4 is $499 down from $555.

All prices will increase in line with GHL announced manufacturer price increases as of 1st October.

Not all dealers are advertising these prices so please call to enquire. Largest stock holding at present is at progressive reef.

Have the prices increased for the standalone dosers?

Where can I find these units for sale in the GTA?

TIA

Prices came down and went back up a bit, this was a reaction to the tumble seen in the Euro over the summer.

When the Euro drops we react making sure clients are not over paying, however when it goes back up we can not always maintain those levels

The SA3 doser is between $399 and $449 right now, stock holding dealers have them at $399 as they purchased when the Euro was low, once this stock has sold it will be at $449 which is still $40 cheaper than the price at the beginning of the year.

One thing is for sure you are buying probably the best doser on the market with its stainless steel shafted motors, 2 year warranty and fully upgradeable, expandable in one pump increments and servicable.

These can be downgraded to 3 pump by simply removing the 4th pump also

A little disappointed that the 3 head slave unit is only $30 cheaper than the SA.

Based on the Fall pricing there is a $50 difference between the SA and slave. I am sure people who want the SA are quite pleased that the SA is not more expensive and does not come with an inflated price tag.

The price between the two is no more than the cost of a PCB, (dependant on model due to price offest with the amount of components required) so to put the price up of the SA would be unreasonable for the client, and the slave is priced accordingly to the quality components used.

MRSP as follows

Dosing Unit 2, USA/CD dosing pump unit, with 2 pumps
$320.49
Dosing Unit 3, USA/CD dosing pump unit, with 3 pumps
$392.49
Dosing Unit 4, USA/CD dosing pump unit, with 4 pumps
$465.95

Dosing Unit SA 2, USA/CND dosing pump unit
$436.49
Dosing Unit SA 3, USA/CND dosing pump unit
$449.49
Dosing Unit SA 4, USA/CND dosing pump unit
$516.49

Quality of components used is important in a doser, yes there are cheaper units, however when buying hardware it is important to buy once and not have to worry in a year or 18 months you have to replace the whole thing, all of a sudden that bargain is no longer a bargain when you have to bin it.

GHL
German stainless steel shafted DC motors
Servicable pumps
2 year warranty on unit (motors 1 year)
1 year warranty on motors (most units have 6 months or none)
pumps - service item
increment upgradable, meaning if you buy a 2 pumo unit you can upgrade it to a 3 pump and so on right up to 8 pump for SA and 24 for slave in conjunction with GHL controller.
Client repairable in the event of accidental soaking
All spares available in Canada

Availability

Progressive reef have just ordered 100 pieces and will be doing specials on packs for the 2-3 part and balling method.
Reef Shoppe has stock
Red Coral has stock
Blue world has stock

Other dealers too but are not can reef sponsors.
