Default Bulkheads : PVC or ABS?

i have a black bulkhead purchased from golds and was wondering what these things are- PVC or ABS? just want to be sure before i go screwing it up with glue

Most likely pvc, the ones i bought there were pvc, burn some if it goes up like crazy its abs

Do you have to glue it Neil (threaded/ non threaded)? I don't glue the threaded variety.

there is one that will have to be glued- the rest are threaded.

If you need to glue one to the other ,you can use ''transition glue''.You might have to go to a plumbing supply place .

You can get PVC to ABS glue at Home Depot or Rona. It's next to the PVC glue and primer.

Black is usually ABS white and Grey are PVC

If it is ABS they are not rated for potable water, you should be using PVC fittings for aquariums.
