60 gal will have its own sump as its temp has to be maintained at 75* for the seahorse's. The 30 gal will only have 2 lines, overflow & return.

But there still is 4 return pumps & 8 return lines to plumb yet.

You think tuning the drains be a PTA with being tied into common line. Would it be easier to have valves after the T where they tie in on the full siphon. Just a thought

Looks good though

I'm probably going to take out the tee's & replace with elbows once I have secured the lines with some custom brackets on the front 2 sets. The back is just the emergency drain that will remain fully open.

Actually I really enjoy doing this kind of plumbing, making it as clean & sleek as possible. The returns will be a little more of a challenge to get just right.

Hi Greg, it is Steve (not sure what accounts you would remember me from but it is Binarywhisper on Ebay, Steve @ Quinte Reef Services and @ WildExpressions Corals as well). Found the thread and have subscribed.

When a person buys the amount of hardware you did it makes me very curious as to what the heck they are doing. Now that I see it all I can say is that the build looks awesome. I'm a hard core DIY'er myself and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the thread and look forward to following your progress.

Hey Steve, first of all welcome to CanReef!! Second, thanks for the items you helped me acquire.

I guess I should gather ALL the pieces of equipment together and take a few pics of that as well, it might take an hr to gather it all up from all my hiding spots.

Hope to get more going on this build soon. Totally swamped with work and dealing with major pain from pinched nerves in my neck so it's a little tough to go all day and then work on the tank at night.

Check out my DIY led build for a little read Steve.

Stay clear..... this Bear bites off limbs!!

As Titus stated there is natural painkillers that will work wonders for you Greg . I tend to enjoy my tank more when I'm relaxed, if you know what I mean.
